My stay at Hotel Glodok Plaza was quite challenging, marred by excessive noise from the nightclub above and unclean conditions in my rooms. However, I found the bed comfortable and some staff members to be friendly and helpful, which softened the overall experience. Sadly, the location and noise made it difficult to truly enjoy my time there. 😩

Rooms
5.0
The rooms had comfortable beds and pillows, but they were generally dirty, with issues like unclean toilets and towels. Also, they lack window, which made me uneasy about safety. Soundproofing is desperately needed due to the incessant noise from the nightclub above.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly and helpful, overall service was inconsistent. Housekeeping was absent during parts of my stay; I only received assistance when I specifically requested it.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location seemed convenient since it’s near the center and a shopping mall, but the noise from the nearby nightclub made it quite undesirable. Taxi drivers had difficulty finding the hotel, which can be frustrating.
Dining
5.0
While I didn’t eat at the hotel, I was pleased with the availability of fresh coffee and some food stalls nearby. However, the overall atmosphere wasn’t appealing due to the smoking everywhere.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like room service were available, but I found the hotel overall quite lacking in options and comfort due to the noise and cleanliness concerns.

My stay at Hotel Glodok Plaza was a mixed bag. While I appreciated its cleanliness and proximity to local attractions, the incessant noise from the nightclub above made it hard to enjoy any peace. The staff were generally friendly, but the lack of soundproofing and the smoky atmosphere were significant downsides.

Rooms
5.0
I found the room clean with comfortable beds, but there were cigarette burns and noise issues that detracted from the experience. There was also a strong smell of smoke that invaded my space at night.
Service
5.0
The staff were courteous and allowed me a late check-out, which I appreciated. However, I noticed some staff spending time on their phones instead of attending to guests.
Location
5.0
The hotel is situated near Plaza Glodok and walking distance to museums and Chinatown, making it convenient for exploring the city. However, be mindful that nightlife options are limited after 10 PM.
Dining
5.0
Room service was decent and reasonably priced, which was a plus. However, the overall atmosphere in the common areas was affected by cigarette smoke.
Facilities
5.0
The WiFi was slow and the lack of available housekeeping during the day was inconvenient. There is no proper front desk on the ground floor, which felt odd.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Glodok Plaza. While the hotel is fairly new and the rooms are comfortable and clean, the location is challenging to find and there’s significant noise from the nightclub upstairs. Additionally, I appreciated the good internet connection and variety of TV channels, but the lack of windows in my room made it feel a bit claustrophobic.

Rooms
5.0
The room was clean and the bed comfortable, though I found it to be quite dark without any windows. I would suggest upgrading to a better room for a more pleasant experience.
Service
7.0
The staff were helpful and attentive, which is a plus during my stay.
Location
5.0
Finding the hotel was quite a quest; it took a lot of time navigating around Glodok, and even locals seemed unfamiliar with it. While it's near Mangga Dua mall and the train station, the surrounding area felt unwelcoming.
Dining
5.0
There are local stalls nearby that serve a variety of food, but I didn’t experience much dining within the hotel itself.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like room service and laundry were accessible, but the nightclub noise really affected my stay.

5.2/10

I stayed at Hotel Glodok Plaza for three nights, and while it was generally clean and in a good location near museums and Chinatown, the noise from the nightclub above was a major downside. The staff were helpful and even allowed a late checkout, but the lack of soundproofing made it hard to relax in my room, especially with the smell of cigarette smoke seeping in from outside at night.

Rooms
5.0
The superior room was clean and had a comfortable bed, but most rooms lack windows, which felt a bit claustrophobic. The noise from the club was a serious issue though; I had to move rooms twice due to the overwhelming noise from the bass.
Service
7.0
The staff were courteous and helpful. They allowed me to check out two hours late, and room service was reasonably priced and decent.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located within Plaza Glodok, close to food options and the Transjakarta station. It's a short taxi ride to Mangga Dua and other central Jakarta attractions, which is a plus.
Dining
7.0
I ordered room service a few times, and the food was pretty good for the price. There are also local stalls outside selling various food options.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel has decent facilities, the noise and smell issues overshadow them. WiFi was available, but it was quite slow at times. Overall, it felt like they need to invest in some soundproofing.

7.4/10

My stay at Hotel Glodok Plaza was a mixed bag. The location is pretty convenient, right above a shopping mall and close to Mangga Dua, but the room was smelly and noisy, which definitely impacted my comfort. Staff friendliness varied, and I felt some pressure regarding extra charges, which left me a bit irritated.

Rooms
5.0
The room I got was spacious but had a lingering cigarette smell, probably from previous guests. The mattress seemed worn out with visible tears, and I felt like it really needs to be replaced. Overall, it was bearable but definitely not ideal.
Service
5.0
Some staff were friendly, but others seemed indifferent and tried to charge me extra for the mattress damage, despite it not being my fault. The service felt inconsistent, which was disappointing.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location is a plus, right above a mall and just a quick angkot trip to Mangga Dua, plus it's not too far from the train station. Getting around was easy enough.
Dining
Facilities
5.0
The amenities like laundry and room service seemed basic. I could've used more options to make my stay better, but they were adequate for what I needed.
